International Relations

University cooperates with more than 125 HEIs of Europe, China, the USA, and CIS-countries. FINEC actively participates in implementation of such projects as TCIS, TEMPUS, ERASMUS MUNDUS.

Department of international cooperation is in charge of external links with foreign partners. The department has several academic-scientific subdivisions: Russian-German Center, Center for Asian-Pacific region countries studies, and Slavic Center.

Training of foreign students has been in practice at FINEC since 1948. More than 4 thousand students from 70 countries have obtained higher education, defended PhD and doctoral theses, at FINEC. These days many of them occupy top positions in the ministries and state agencies of their countries; successfully run large public and private companies.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students are offered opportunities to take a semester training course in Finland, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Romania, China, the USA etc. University promotes expansion of students and faculty exchange, collaborates with such agencies as DAAD, Edufrance, CIMO and others.
