Analysis of educational demands of the Pskov Oblast business environment in the framework of the EuroFaculty — Pskov project

Free enterprise and SME creation are key factors for an economic development of Northwest Russia. Pskov enterprises competitive growth both in the Northwestern Federal District and in the EU cross-border regions is the main object of the project. Evaluation of the Pskov Oblast business environment needs in the context of staff training/retraining and complacency in the services provided by the local HEIs are the big rocks.

Analysis of the Pskov Oblast small business potential includes:

  • Analysis of the Pskov enterprises branch trades;
  • Identification of the current business environment problems and obstacles entrepreneurs run into from the state and financial sectors, society etc.
  • Specification of the ways for the staff training/retraining programs, which will contribute to the competitive growth both in the Northwestern Federal District and in the EU cross-border regions.
  • Evaluation of the Pskov oblast enterprises needs in entering the frontier markets, and further support provision.
